Went for a 2-h Bead Experience Workshop by Tanja Sadow @ Sunshine Plaza today. It's been a while since I did any handicrafts. I just love working creatively with my hands.Yippee! New skill. Well, not that I haven't done hand-made jewellery before. Remember doing for fun way back in JC and sold my necklaces then for about $10 a piece. That was expensive in those times. Wanted to do more but no time. Haven't done any since recently.
Anyway, had so much fun I'm hoping to take up the Professional Wire Work Workshop which costs a lot more ($399) but comes with a certificate - Jewellery Art Diploma.
Not sure if I really want to spend the money but I'd love to take proper lessons instead of going about it on my own. The techniques learnt are really useful. And most importantly, the peace I experience while concentrating on my crafts and satisfaction of seeing my completed jewellery pieces are priceless!
